Upcoming Road Closures and Restrictions in Muskingum County

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio— The Ohio Department of Transportation is alerting motorists of some upcoming road closures and restrictions in Muskingum County.

Beginning Sunday, May 3, motorists can expect nightly lane closures on I-70 in the City of Zanesville for bridge sweeping/patching between exit 152 and exit 155. The estimated completion is Thursday, May 7, weather permitting. The work hours will from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Portions of Limestone Valley Road and Foxfire Drive will close for road repairs on May 4. This work is in relation to the US 22 rock excavation project near White Cottage. The estimated completion is Tuesday, May 5, weather permitting. Roads will be open to local traffic only.

On Monday, May 4, the Deerfield Road bridge over I-70 will be closed to traffic overnight for work associated with the I-70 resurfacing project. Deerfield Road bridge will be closed from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.Nightly lane closures for resurfacing work on I-70 between SR 93 and US 22/40 (exit 164) are expected to begin on Wednesday, May 6.
