MCLS Extends Adult Online Programming

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Muskingum County Library System is extending its adult online programming through the end of the year.
The extension is in direct response to the COVID pandemic being ongoing. Director of Programming Erin Barlow tells us about the programs offered by the library.
“A community conversations series. The fourth part of the first one is wrapping up this Thursday but you can still register. That we’re gonna do once a month. We have a weekly coffee and crafts, which is pretty fun because they can come and pick up their supplies. We provide the supplies… We just started and LGBTQ+ book club, that’s gonna meet monthly. You can register online and pick up the books here.”
They’re also doing weekly Facebook lives about favorite books from the staff. Registration is easy to do.
“You just go on to our website. You can pull down events, or they’ll scrolling on the side, whichever is easiest for you if you know what you’re looking for. Then you just go and you can enter either your library card or your pin, and it’ll enter the rest of your information for you, or you can use your name and email address and we just use those to contact you.”
The library is also open to the public Monday through Friday from two pm to six pm.
