Teens Injured in Licking Co. Crash
Two people suffered injury after an accident in Licking County.
The State Highway Patrol said the accident took place on State Route 13 at 9:45p.m., Monday night.
Troopers said that a preliminary report indicates a 2000 Chevy S-10 Blazer driven by 17-year-old Zack Hanf, of Somerset, was traveling south on SR 13, south of Interstate 70, when it drove left of center and struck a commercial vehicle.
Hanf wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to OSU Medical Center by Med Flight.
His passenger, 18-year-old Paige Kimberlain, of Thornville, wasn’t wearing her seatbelt and was partially ejected. She was taken to Grant Medical Center.
The driver of the commercial vehicle, 51-year-old Albert Chidester, of Thornville, was taken to Licking Memorial by Licking Township Fire Company for minor injuries. He was later released.
