Guernsey County Homicide Investigated

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide.  Sheriff Jeffrey Paden says his office received a 9-1-1 call Sunday morning around 9:30 from a female reporting that her friend had just been shot while the two were trying to summon assistance for their disabled vehicle.  It happened on a Kimbolton roadway.  The victim is identified as 29-year-old Alexander Anderson of Newark.  He was found lying in the roadway with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.  The incident remains under investigation.
