Library Expanding Hours

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Muskingum County Library System is expanding its hours once again.
The library took on shorter hours to account for the COVID pandemic. Now it’s opening its doors another day of the week.
“Once again we are very excited to announce that we are opening up on Saturdays now, from ten to two, beginning this Saturday October 3rd. All of our branches will be open, we hope people come on in and we hope it’ll be a little more convenient for people to come see us.”, public relations assistant Rob Cook said.
The library took data from the CDC into account when deciding its reoponing policy. It is still enforcing social distancing policies.
“We have been looking to do that for quite a while now, but we now feel like we have the staffing and the safety protocols in place to make that possible… Every hour we do sanitize our work stations. We do ask that people wear masks when they come in, and hand sanitize. If they aren’t comfortable with masks then they are welcome to use our curbside service.”
