Fink’s Saturday Night Blitz – Playoffs: Round One, Day Two

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s always a good week when you have two nights of high school football. With the playoffs starting, that’s what we’re going to have the next couple of weeks.

For the second straight week, Philo and Maysville went at it. The Panthers won an overtime thriller in Week 6, 43-42, however that wouldn’t be the case in the playoffs.

Philo wins 43-0 over Maysville. The Electrics advance to the second round and will take on, another MVL team, undefeated Meadowbrook Saturday night.

John Glenn was hosting Circleville and the ninth ranked Muskies roll to a 41-22 win. JG will hit the road next week to take on Vincent Warren.

New Lexington takes down Westfall, 41-6. The Panthers travel on Saturday to take on #1 Ironton.

Coshocton picks up an impressive 39-6 win over Zane Trace. The Redskins will visit #4 Columbus Academy Saturday night.

Cambridge rolls at home, taking down Linden McKinley 55-14.

Morgan, Crooksville and River View all fall in the first round of the playoffs.

The Raiders lost 43-24 to Amanda Clearcreek. Crooksville fell to Ironton Rock Hill 26-10. The Black Bears dropped a tough one to Sparta Highland, 50-33.
