ZANESVILLE – The program is called “explore O-U-Z”. The virtual webinar series will take place over the first few weeks of November. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a much safer way for the college to spread the word about what it has to offer.

“This is normally the time of year where high schools are bringing groups of students to campus. We’re hosting tours on campus but that’s obviously not something that’s feasible now given the COVID situation and yet we still have seniors out there who are trying to make plans and so we’re trying to get them as much information as we possibly can so they can make as informed of a decision as possible is what we’re trying to do,” OU-Z Enrollment Director Jason Howard said.

The webinar features twelve different sessions about the university.

“We’ve got a general session just on the campus itself and a very broad session and then we have eleven different sessions on our academic page so programs such as nursing, social work, education, and communication so students who are thinking about degrees in any of those areas they will be able to sign up for a session and learn more about the program itself,” Howard said.

The series will be able to be easily found on OU-Z’s website.
