Ruh-Roh! Dog Of The Week

Unnamed

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-If you and your mystery solving gang are looking for the final member look not further than this week’s dog of the week from the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center.

This week’s dog is Scooby. Scooby is the perfect dog for a family with grown children with pockets full of Scooby snacks.

“He appears to be a great dane mix. Probably a great dane boxer. He’s probably a year and a half to two years old. As you can see he’s very high energy. He’s kind of  a goofball, as you can tell. He likes to play, he likes Doug as you can see. He’s not aggressive at all, he just seems like he’s high energy. He likes to play in the play yard just like all our other pups out there.”, dog warden Bryan Catlin told WHIZ.

Interested adopters should call the adoption center to set up a meet and greet. The warden’s office also wants to remind dog owners to renew their dog tags.

“Dog tags went on sale today. There’s probably maybe ten to twelve different locations that do sell them. Just like with our adoptions we are asking everybody to make appointments as necessary. Right now our staff is at third. We do have three dog wardens, but we split our staff up because of COVID protocols, so there’s only one warden on duty at a time.”, Catlin said of the tags.

Dog owners will have two months to buy new tags.
