Three Vehicle Crash in Fairfield County

The State Highway Patrol is investigating a three vehicle crash in Fairfield County.

It happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 31 east of County Road 33A in Greenfield Township.

Troopers said 47-year-old Andrew Filson of Amelia was driving a Honda motorcycle westbound on County Road 31.  75-year-old Robert Graves of Grove City was traveling eastbound on County Road 31 in an Oldsmobile Aurora when he went left of center and struck the motorcycle head on.

51-year-old Anthony Williams of Lancaster was traveling westbound behind the motorcycle in a Dodge Caliber.  He was also hit by the vehicle.

The patrol said Filson was transported to OSU Medical Center by Air Evac with serious injuries.  49-year-old Robert Graves Jr. of Grove City was a passenger in the Aurora.  He was taken to Grant Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Filson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.  The Pleasant Township Fire Department and Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
