Community Stalwart Celebrates 95

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Elden Hudson turned 95 today and was greeted by a surprise gathering of his friends and family. 

He felt nothing but gratitude for the show of love and support from the community. Hudson looks back on his life proud of the help he gave to each community he lived in as a lifelong Rotary member. 

“I think the things I’ve been doing for the community and the church everywhere I’ve lived. I think what I’ve tried to do is give from myself, not take. I think we have to learn that. It’s more important to give than it is to take. That’s what I’ve been trying to do all my life.”, Hudson told reporters.
