Hands of Faith Thrives for Nearly 30 Years

Covid-19 has forced churches across the world to change they way
they worship.

Pastor Michael Bullock from the Hands of Faith Church spoke to the
Zanesville Noon Rotary today about the challenges the pandemic has brought his
facility, as well as other obstacles they have faced in the church’s nearly 30
year history.

“The things that we’ve gone through I think can help other
organizations, other churches, to understand there’s certain dynamics that go
with diversity. Sometimes we make certain things an issue that if we would just
focus on things that were non-issues than the issues will take care of
themselves,” said Dr. Michael Bullock.

Pastor Bullock says one challenge faced by his church and other places
of worship is keeping parishioners active in these uncertain times.

“Trying to engage people into coming to church on Sundays, because
of so many other activities whether it be work, sports for youth, different
things of that nature. So, we’re navigating through a lot of different things,
but we’ve been blessed, fortunate, we have great attendance, great people and a
great cohesiveness that the foundation of everything we do is love,” he said.

Hands of Faith is a non-denominational church located on Brighton Boulevard
in Zanesville. They have in-person services on Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m.
