Tamara “Tammy” Sue Starkey

Tamara Sue “Tammy” Starkey, 56 of Newark, formally of Zanesville, died 7:40 PM, Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Altercare of Newark. She was born Friday, December 18, 1964, in Zanesville, the daughter of John Starkey and Helen (Young) Starkey.

Tammy enjoyed of all type of music and dancing.  She loved animals.

Tammy is survived by one sister: Sandra Gookins of Zanesville; two brothers: Robert Starkey of Savanah, Georgia and Jeffrey Starkey of Zanesville; one sister-in-law: Debbie Starkey of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by one brother: Greg Starkey and one brother-in-law: Elmer “Bud” Gookins.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon, Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 12 Noon with Pastors Steve & Pat Dixon officiating. Burial will conclude in the Dutch Hill Cemetery, Mc Connelsville.
