Zanesville Patrol Post Gets New Commander
The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol has a new commander. Sergeant William Boyd was promoted to the rank of lieutenant Thursday by Colonel John Born during a ceremony at the Patrol’s Academy. Lt. Boyd will transfer from his current assignment at the Marietta Post to serve as commander of the Zanesville Post. Lt Boyd began his Patrol Career in February of 1997 and was initially assigned to the Zanesville Post. Boyd lives in McConnelsville with his wife, Kelly and three children.
