New Urgent Care to open in Zanesville

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- Muskingum Valley Health Center is adding a new Urgent Care facility to the Zanesville area.
Urgent Care will be opened on May 24. There are three other urgent care facilities in Morgan, Guernsey and Coshocton Counties. MVHC CEO Dan Atkinson said this new location will provide access to those in the underserved area.
“We looked at the number of patients and the population in this region and realized adding this access point between our Adair office and the location we have on Pinkerton Lane would be extremely valuable, especially in light of the fact that many of our community members struggle with transportation,” CEO of MVHC Dan Atkinson said.
Walk in visits are offered and you don’t have to be a patient of a primary physician to come. The urgent care has 12 exam rooms as well as on-sight access for x-ray services.
“We can treat any kind of minor urgent issue as well as primary care issues. Patients who need a primary care provider but need immediate services, they can utilize this facility,” Atkinson said.
You can find the new urgent care at 915 Putnam Avenue in Zanesville.
