Miles Lee Roy Luke

Miles Lee Roy Luke, 46 of Zanesville, died, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born Tuesday, May 6, 1975, in Washington County, OH the son of Miles “Roy”(Judi) Luke and the late Genevieve (Wagner) Wells.

He was active with the Miracle League adult program and the Special Olympics and attended RHDD.  He loved sports, especially basketball, swimming and bowling.  He was an avid Ohio State sports fan.

In addition to his father he is survived by his sisters, Ann Long of Parkersburg, WV, Jessica Biehl and Janel McConnell both of Lower Salem; one brother, Terry Waterman of Marietta; special aunt and uncle, Melanie (Lin) Avendano; several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Friends may call Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. Graveside Services will be held 12:30 PM, Friday, July 2, 2021, at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fr. Martin J. Ralko officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Ohio, 3303 Winchester Pike, Columbus, Ohio 43232 in Miles memory.
