Carr Center Tees Up for Annual Golf Outing and Fundraiser for its Community Programs

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Carr Center is teeing up for their annual Golf Outing this upcoming Friday to raise funds for its community services that it provides.
The annual golf outing is happening this Friday, July 9th at Jaycess’ Golf Course with registration beginning at 8:30AM and tee off at 9:00AM.
“It’s a really fun informal day, you can entertain clients that day or offer as a reward to employees. We love to have a full set of golfers out there. We actually need four more teams to hit my goals so if you could help me out and register today that would be great,” Becky Clawson, the executive director of the Carr Center stated.
Funds raised from this event will help their community programs like subsidizing fees for self-pay clients for speech therapy for children or adult daycare which may not be covered by insurance. If the number of registered teams goal is met, the Carr Center expects to raise $10,000 for such programs.
“We are still accepting team registrations so if you haven’t gotten your registration in, it is not too late. You can do that at Carrcenter.org. That’s C-A-R-R Center dot org. And pay online even if you want to or bring a check on Friday to the registration table, that’s fine as well,” Claswson said.
Prices to register a team are $320 per team, and if you can’t attend the event, you can still support the Carr Center in the 50/50 ball drop lottery, or by sponsoring a team on the organization’s website.
