Cambridge Woman Injured in Single Vehicle Crash

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a Cambridge woman was seriously injured after being involved in a single vehicle crash.

The Zanesville Post of the OSHP is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred this morning, August 1 at approximately 11:37 a.m. The crash occurred on US 22 near mile marker 17 in Washington Township, Muskingum County.

Thais Yvonne Anderson, 72, from Cambridge, Ohio was eastbound on US 22 in a tan 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Mrs. Anderson drove off the right side of the roadway, went through a guardrail and struck the ground. She was ejected from the vehicle.

Two good samaritans rendered emergency care prior to EMS arrival.

Washington Township EMS, Zanesville Fire Department, The Ohio Department of Transportation, American Electric Power, and Lanes Towing were also on scene assisting.

The crash remains under investigation by the Zanesville Post of the OSHP.
