ZPD Says Man Suspect In Two Robberies
Zanesville Police say they have a man in custody who is a suspect in two recent gas station robberies. Detective Sergeant Harry Taylor just after 11:30 Monday night the BP at 3415 Maple Avenue was robbed by a man who claimed he had a gun. The suspect fled with an undermined amount of money in a mid-sized red sedan. Taylor says a short time later Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputies starting chasing the vehicle that ended with a crash at Spangler Drive and Dearborn Street. Detective Taylor says 37-year-old Teddie Hunter was taken into custody. Taylor says Hunter is also a suspect in the robbery of the Speedway on Blue Avenue on January 24th. Investigators are asking anyone with information on either incident to call the Zanesville Police Department.
