Lavonne Morrison

Lavonne Morrison, 81 of Frazeysburg, died 8:45 PM, Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Laurel of Heath Nursing Center. She was born Monday, November 13, 1939, in Zanesville, the daughter of John Neal and Thelma (Thompson) Neal. She married Luther “Luke” D. Morrison on Friday, April 2, 1976, who preceded her in death on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Lavonne retired from Ohio Plastics following many years of service. She loved to do jigsaw puzzles. Lavonne was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who looked forward to the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Lavonne is survived by two sons: Don Kanavel of Frazeysburg and Scott Morrison of Coshoction; five grandchildren: Michael (Britnee) Kanavel, Brett (Lynn) Kanavel, Brittany Foughty, Hunter Morrison and Skylar Morrison.

In addition to her parents, Lavonne was preceded in death by her husband: Luke Morrison and one son: Dale Kanavel.
