Pine Street repairs continue following water main break

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–Zanesville City officials announced Thursday that they hope to reopen Pine Street near the intersection of W. Muskingum Avenue early next week.

The road has been closed following last Friday’s water main break.

Officials said there is an 8 inch, a 12 inch and a 16 inch waterline under Pine Street.

To ensure that there are no further breaks and to allow the waterlines time to settle, the Street Division will begin paving next Monday, August 9.

Crews plan to open Pine Street on Tuesday, August 10, once paving is completed.

Traffic detours will continue to be posted.
