Stop and Smell the Roses with the Animal Shelter’s Pet of the Week: Daisy!

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Please put your hands and paws together for this week’s pet of the week: Daisy. She is a four year old beagle with a bubbly personality. 

Daisy gets along well with everyone, dog or human, and is even friendly and gentle with kids making her a perfect match for families.

“She is very friendly, she’d be a great family dog. She’s great with other dogs but if you have cats, she needs to be properly socialized,” Lindsay Dare, a board member with the Animal Shelter Society stated.

Like a flower, Daisy will bloom with your family as she’s very sociable and fits the lifestyle required of the family dog. She’s able to be a high energy canine and also a relaxed pooch given her environment at any given time. 

“She’s just a high energy goofy little cutie… She’s able to relax and adapt,” Dare said.
