Maysville High School Panthers hold scrimmage, prepare for upcoming season

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- The Maysville High School football team laced up their cleats and took the field for a scrimmage Saturday evening.

The Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs visited the Panthers as both teams prepare for the upcoming fall season.

Despite a lightning delay that cut the scrimmage a little short, both teams were ecstatic to get back on the field.

The teams had both its varsity and junior varsity players on the sidelines.

The scrimmage allowed the young men to prepare for this years, hopeful full season.

The players worked on throwing, passing, tackling and kicking.

The players on the sidelines cheered on their teammates on the field after every big play, as if it was a regular season game.

The countdown to gameday continues.

The Maysville Panthers are back in action on Friday, August 13 with another scrimmage. They will travel to Licking Valley High School.
