Maddie named Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Dog of the Week

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- The Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center has named Maddie its dog of the week.
If you and your family are looking for a loving and playful pup, Maddie is the dog for you. She enjoys being outside and playing with her toys. She even knows how to fetch and sit. Maddie is also young enough where you would be able to still teach her new things.
She strives for affection, even more so than going for walks. She gets a little excited when she first comes out of the kennel knowing when she sees a volunteer that she’s going to go for a walk. She much rather just be able to sit and play,” volunteer Doug McQuaid said.
If you have any other pets, be sure to bring them in to meet Maddie. It is unknown how she is with cats and dogs. Maddie always has a clean kennel everyday when the volunteers come in and check on her.
“She’s all around, would be great for a family, maybe with young children that love to be entertained. She’s just very affectionate and friendly,” McQuaid said.
Maddie was brought in at the end of June and is a lab mix. She is spayed, up to date on her shots and ready to be brought home. If you’re interested in adopting Maddie, you can call the adoption center at (740)-453-0273.
