DOWNTOWN ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Come one, come all. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville is putting on a cookout dinner free to the public in its parking lot tomorrow evening from 5:30PM to 8:00PM.

It’s the hottest weather of the year, which means there’s no better time to get out of the hot stuffy house and have a free meal among friends, family, and members of the community.

“So we will have free food, lots of activities. Some of the activities include face painting, we have a rubber duck game, we will have cornhole, we will also have a water balloon game, and then we’re also partnering with Eastside as well as Bethel, and they will be hosting activities as well. So really just want to get as many families and their children down here to end the summer on a high note, a fun note, and to just come together and be together before school starts again,” Katie Mainini, director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville stated.

With many opportunities for summer family fun slowly winding down with school starting Big Brothers Big Sisters is going all out for their first ever event.

“We will have a face painter here, we will have a snow cone, snow cones for anybody that wants snow cones, face painting for anybody that wants face painting, you want to get the kids out of the house on a hot summer day, tomorrow is your day,” Mainini said.

The event will be rain or shine tomorrow and to find out more information you can contact Big Brothers Big Sisters from their website or Facebook page.
