Tri-Valley v. ZHS Football Game Canceled

There will be some disappointed football fans in the area this week.

The most anticipated game of the week has been canceled. Zanesville was set to take on Tri-Valley in a non-conference matchup.

The announcement came in a Twitter post from the schools Wednesday morning.

Tri-Valley said they will now travel to Jackson to take on the Ironmen. This is a rematch from last year’s playoff game. The Blue Devils said those who purchased tickets to the game will receive a refund.

Saturday’s Junior Varsity game between the two schools has also been canceled.

They aren’t the only area teams seeing a change in the schedule. Philo was set to take on Morgan Friday. They also canceled and now Philo will travel to Fairbanks. Shenandoah has canceled their football game against Racine Southern.
