DII GIRLS

The Sheridan Generals made their way to third place in the DII State Golf Championship at the Ohio State University Gray Course.

Meg Saffell shot an 84. Morgan Cornwell shot an 86. Morgan Wamer added a score of 87 and Sauna White also shot an 87.

Crooksville’s Riley McKenzie shot an 81 on the second day of the tournament to earn herself a tie for 16th.

DII-BOYS

The Little Muskies finished their golf season in 12th place at the OHSAA Division II Tournament at NorthStar Golf Course.

John Glenn’s Owen Van Fossen shot an 84. Noah Dever shot a 90. Drew Johnson added a score of 95. Adam Johnson 97. Braden Rice also shot a 97.

DIII-Boys

The Newark Catholic Green Wave are the third best team in the state in Division III.

Newark Catholic took part in the second day of the OHSAA State Golf Tournament at the OSU Scarlet Course. They finished the day with a 323 behind first place Hiland and second place Gilmour Academy.

The Green Wave’s Brogan Sullivan shot an 83. Brian Luft shot an 84 as did Jack Rehbeck and Max Vanoy. Nathan Riggleman finished with a 91.
