ZANESVILLE, Ohio- As kids start recovering from their sugar crashes from Halloween candy, preparations for the holiday season are underway.

The Rushing Wind Biker Church is gearing up for their 25th Annual Motorcyclists for Kids Toy Ride and toy drive this upcoming Saturday.

“We invite the entire community to come out November 6th between eleven and one. See all the motorcycles, see Santa Clause, bring your children, bring some unwrapped toys, you’re welcome to bring bicycles. We want you to bring monetary gifts, because we want to bless the underprivileged children here in Muskingum County, the city of Zanesville, and let them know that we care about them and its really a great event,” Michael McGuire, pastor of Rushing Wind Biker Church stated.

The toy drive is taking place at the Walmart in Northern Zanesville on Maple Avenue from 11AM-1PM, with a Christmas Parade and candy being passed out around 1:30PM.

“We’re going to go end up going down Maple Avenue, across the Sixth Street Bridge, and this is very important, we’re going to be going down Moxahala Avenue. So we’re encouraging everyone to bring their children for this parade route with all the motorcyclists and Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause,” McGuire said.

All the toys will be donated by the bikers at the Salvation Army and a map of the parade route is posted above.
