The Animal Shelter Society Prepares to Bring in New Year With “Caturday Night Live” Fundraiser

Starting the new year off right, the Animal Shelter Society is bringing back their fundraiser event, “Caturday Night Live.”
With over 1,000 animals sheltered and helped this, this event will be the start of helping more for the new year
Caturday Night Live is a comedy club that consists of two comedians ready to make you laugh all night, said April Cohagen-Gibson, General Manager at the Animal Shelter Society.
“It’s going to be our first fundraiser of January in 2022. We’re very excited about it and what we do with that, as a non-profit, is to help the animals at our shelter, just like Ava here,” Cohagen-Gibson stated. “It’s great for us to be able to educate our public that comes in on what we do at the shelter and perhaps the difference on one of the biggest question I get as a general manager at the Animal Shelter, is the difference between the Muskingum County Dog Adoption Center and ours.”
Cohagen-Gibson said that there will be some raffles, amazing foods, drinks and spirits available during the fundraiser.
“We usually have a really cool raffle that usually involves an Ohio State memorabilia or perhaps Cleveland Browns so kind of have that in mind. We’ll be advertising that. Keep a look on our Facebook. We have a very active Facebook page and a website. So we’ll be releasing more information on that this week,” Cohagen-Gibson said.
The tickets are $20 and will be held at Bryan Place on January 15th starting at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. the comedians will start. To purchase a ticket, please contact the Animal Shelter Society at 740-452-1077 or Bryan Place at 740-450-8008.
