Donald “Don” C. Ferrell, Jr.

Donald “Don” C. Ferrell, Jr, 58 of Zanesville, died, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at his home following a year long illness. He was born Thursday, April 18, 1963, in Mann, WV, the son of Donald C. Ferrell, Sr. and Mary L. (Tate) Ferrell.

Don was an Apartment Manager for many years in Columbus, and was Elvis’ number one fan. Don was a fantastic brother; he had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed joking with everyone he knew.

Don is survived by his fiancée, Vickie Chiappone of Zanesville, his children: Nicholas Marlowe, River Marlowe, Adam Rector, Jesse Ferrell, Megan Ferrell, Eric Ferrell, Cassie Ferrell, Dalton Ferrell and Pierce Ferrell;  five sisters, Timmie Lynn Tate, Louise Rodriquez, Katherine Hale, and Teresa (Michael Hale) Ferrell all of Zanesville, and Amanda Oliver of Columbus; numerous grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son: Trenton Ferrell, one brother: Gerald Ferrell and one sister: Donna Gillman.

Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 7:30 PM, with Reuben Wallace officiating.
