TRI-VALLEY OUTLASTS NEW LEXINGTON IN GIRLS BASKETBALL

NEW LEXINGTON, O.H.- Defense was the early theme for both the Tri-Valley Scotties and New Lexington Panthers girls basketball teams.
The first field goal came about five minutes into the first quarter and both teams were not allowing many baskets in the opening frame.
Lydia Stephens played a big role for the Panthers while Lexi Howe led the way for Tri-Valley, scoring a game-high 23 points.
The Scotties took a 11-9 lead into halftime and escape with a nice road win over New Lexington by a score of 42-41. Lexi Howe led the Scotties with 23 points.
