Tri-Valley Takes Down Maysville in Girls Basketball

DRESDEN, OH- The Tri-Valley Scotties girls basketball team wasted no time giving themselves a lead as they took on the Maysville Panthers at home.
Lexi Howe got things started with an and-1 opportunity to ignite a spark for the home team.
On the oher side, Laikyn Lewellen scored on a midrange jumper. Scoring chances were abundant for both teams early on.
The Scotties then went on a 17-0 run in the first half to put themselves in good position to win throughout the entire first half. Three-point shooting was an instrumental part of their success in the first half. Ashley Dinan and Lexi Littick connected from beyond the arc to help put this game away early.
Maysville was not going down without a fight as Jayda McGarvey looked to get her team back in this one with two quick baskets, but it was not enough as the Scotties went on to win 55-15. Anna Krupa led Tri-Valley with 14 points.
