The Muskingum County Grand Jury has indicted two local men accused of raping children.

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said 49-year-old Wayne Flickinger of Zanesville faces life in prison without parole for allegedly raping and molesting a child over the span of nine years.

The Grand Jury indicted Flickinger for 10 first-degree felony counts of rape and one fourth-degree felony count of gross sexual imposition. The rape charges specified that Flickinger is a sexually violent predator, which required the Grand Jury to find that there is a likelihood that Flickinger will engage in future sexually violent offenses.

The indictment references a time frame of offenses between 2011 and 2020.

In the same session the Grand Jury indicted, 43-year-old Marc F. Worden, of Adamsville, on two first-degree felony counts of rape and one second-degree felony count of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.

According to Worden’s indictment, the crimes occurred over the summer of 2021 and involved two separate underage victims.

Worden faces up to 30 years in prison upon conviction
