Volume One Styling Salon Celebrate New Location in Colony Square Mall

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- A new salon has expanded its location inside the Colony Square Mall.

The Volume One Styling Salon celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting today, which was presented by the Chamber of Commerce.

Since 2005, “Look Better Feel Better,” has always been the motto for Dagmar Dyer, the Owner of Volume One, when she first started her journey.

“I was teaching a small group of teens social skills and that’s when I learned of “Look Better Feel Better.” So from then on it was kind of my mission to take my “Look Better Feel Better” ideology throughout the Ohio Valley,” Dyer stated. “So this is our second location and we are going to continue to grow, and help the Ohio Valley look better and feel better.”

The other Volume One Styling Salon is located in Cambridge, Ohio on South Hill Parkway.

Dyer talked about how the space location came to her while out with her son and is grateful for the smooth process that came along with opening the second salon.

“Well I’ve been looking for a space to expand for awhile and my son actually found this space,” Dyer said. “We had come to Colony Square Mall to go to the movie theater and he’s like ‘mom look, I think that’s an empty salon’ and I was like ‘Oh, I think it is.’ I called the number and here we are.”

Dyer is very excited about opening the new location and happy to provide services like haircuts, perms, colors, waxing and more for men, women and children.

Volume One Styling Salon will be open Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays noon to 6:00 p.m.
