Dude, Be Kind Receives a Donation from Shrivers Pharmacy

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- In celebration of the Muskingum County, Dude, Be Kind week, Shrivers Pharmacy has made a donation towards the initiative.
The donation from Shrivers Pharmacy was for $1,000.
Jessica Sabine, Chief Marketing Officer for Shrivers Pharmacy said they have participated during Dude, Be Kind week since it started four years ago and is happy to be providing a donation for the students at Mid-East Career Technology Center.
“There are a couple of core areas where we focus our community giving on and children’s causes are one of those,” Sabine stated. “So really this program very closely aligns with our mission in giving, which is to support children’s causes, support kindness in the community, support the communities that we’re in and so it was kind of really a win win for us to be a part of this program from the beginning and to continue our partnership with Dude, Be Kind and with Mid-East.”
Matt Sheridan, the Superintendent at Mid-East shared his gratitude and talked about how this donation will be used throughout the student community.
“So one of the ways that we’re going to use the money is to help provide supplies to kids that need it for just some basic hygiene items that we always provide to them. If we’re running low we’re going to replenish that supply and make sure that we get kids what they need,” Sherdian said.
It was coincidental that Random Acts of Kindness Day fell on Dude, Be Kind week, but leaders at Mid-East mentioned how they plan to set the week around the day for future years.
