Coat Drive Held at Zanesville Christ Table

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Members of the New California Presbyterian Church in Marysville, Ohio, held a coat drive on Monday at Christ Table.
The church passed out winter items to the Zanesville community, while also serving food.
Pastor of New CA Presbyterian Church, Earl Dunbar, said they were able to provide three car loads of clothing.
“We’re here to drop off coats and hats and gloves and some warm weather things. We collect those during the year and then we come out shortly after Christmas and give those away,” Pastor Dunbar stated. “So half of our group is doing that and half of our group is serving a meal. So we’re usually out here about three times a year and this one is our coat drive that we bring.”

Being the hands and feet of Christ is the mission they follow and by doing that, they come together to provide resources and items like this, says Pastor Dunbar.
“We’re hoping to at least have some contact or relationship with people as they come and be able to help them be warm because even though it’s a warm day today, it’s not going to be in a few days,” Pastor Dunbar stated. “So we want to be able to help them and make sure that they’re safe, and we love this place so we want to make sure we’re helping Christ Table as well.”
There were a lot of new volunteers from the church who attended and helped at the Christ Table.
Pastor Dunbar said the New CA Presbyterian Church was able to serve over 100 people earlier today.
