Day Two of the Ohio Wrestling State Tournament

COLUMBUS, OH- It was nothing but action all around in todays jam packed event. We had multiple wrestlers from the area giving it their all in the second round in the tournament.

When it came to the results of the second round it was Sheridan’s Alex Crane, Granville’s Carson Miller, and Maysville’s Gauge Samson who all got a victory and advanced to the third round.

But when it was all said and done, our lone area wrestler heading into the final day of the State tournament with an opportunity to make it to the finals is Guage Samson.

The Panthers Senior has won twice in the tournament and improved his record to 49-0. Samson looks to cap off his amazing season with a high placement in tomorrow’s finals with a chance to become a state champ.
