Muskingum University Names New Athletic Director

ZANESVILLE, OH- The university announced that Kari Winters has been named the Muskies Athletic Director. She most recently was the Interim Director of Athletics as well as serving as the Head Softball Coach for the Muskies.

This is a historic moment for the school, as Winters is the first full-time female holding the position in Muskingum’s history.

Winters has been the coach of the Muskingum Softball team since 2011, where she has helped guide the program to two Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season Titles along with an OAC Postseason Title and an NCAA Regional Appearance while picking up individual accolades along the win.

Winters also was a member of the Muskingum University Softball team as a student. She graduating with her bachelor’s in 2008 and master’s in 2010.
