The event is set to happen at Riverside Ballpark on April 9th from noon until 2 pm.

The event has more than 7 different community sponsors including A1 Towing, the Kevin Martin Foundation and Pepsi Cola.

Community Redevelopment Administrator, Maria Brent says she hopes the day will be a success, hoping for “a large turnout, and kids just having fun and laughing and enjoying theirself.” She told us.

The egg hunt will have over 3,000 eggs with various prizes for 6 different age and ability level groups.

Organizer of the event and Riverside Ballpark facilitator, Johanna Hedges says the event will truly cater to every child at every ability level.

“Parents or caregivers can go in with these kids, they can be kids of any age can go into our special abilities group. We’re hoping to have age appropriate and ability appropriate prizes for them as well” Hedges let us know.

There will also be members from the police, fire department, and towing companies present to interact with kids before the event at 10am.

If it rains, the event will be held on Sunday April 10th.

There will also be signs around the park, marking off the sections for the Hunt. For more information, contact Johanna Hedges on Facebook or you can email the maria.brent@coz.org .
