Spring Time Cuddles on the Farm
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Spring is here and that means it’s also time for Spring on the Farm at the McDonald Greenhouse and Corn Maze!
The event ‘Spring Cuddles on the Farm’ gives the community a chance to visit farmland and play with baby animals.
The event has fresh donuts and is something the whole family can enjoy.
McDonald Farm owner and event organizer, Susan Lucas, says the event is all about celebrating new life.
“This is fun wholesome activity to do, we circle it the around Easter season that celebrates new life and we want our children and our community to understand agriculture and the circle of life,” said McDonald.
There is a $3 entry donation that will go towards True Light Ministries, a nonprofit out of Putnam.
The event will also feature baby animals, chicks, goats, and even a calf all to celebrate the spring.
“Spring time on the farm means that everything is greening up and the grass is ready to mow but the best thing about spring on a farm are all the baby animals that come after a long hard winter,” McDonald also told us.
Children under 2 get into the farm for free.
The farm will be open tomorrow, April 10th, from 11am to 4pm as well as April 15th, and April 16th from 9am- 5pm.
