Richard M. Terrill

Richard Michael ‘Rick’ Terrill, 69 of Zanesville, Ohio died at 12:35 PM, Monday, December 12, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.

He was born August 1, 1953 in Zanesville, the son of the late Charles E. and Dollie Mae (nee: Bash) Terrill, Sr.

Rick was a former employee of Stewart-Glapat Corporation in Zanesville where he worked as an electrician’s helper.  He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of South Zanesville.  In his leisure time, Rick enjoyed fishing and he collected eagles, Native American Indian memorabilia and coffee mugs.  He had a love of dogs, especially Siberian Huskies.  Rick was a devoted family man with a kind heart.

Rick’s legacy will live on in his family through his wife of 49 and a half years, Luann (nee: Fitzpatrick) Terrill; his daughters, Richelle (Jeremy) Bright and Krista (Jyron) Nard; his grandchildren, Jaime, Keilee, Christopher, Dakota, Jalil, Kayleona; his great grandchildren, Landon, Jeremiah, Serenity, Ezekial, James, Azaria and Carter; his sister, Joyce Toombs and his canine fur baby, Hollie.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Anderson and Charles E. Terrill, Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Ivan Anderson, John Lewis and Keith Love and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Burdette and Clara Fitzpatrick.

The Terrill family has chosen cremation for Rick. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 18th at 1st Baptist Church of South Zanesville, 80 E. Main St., Zanesville with a lunch to follow.  Side dishes are welcome.
