Power Outage In Newark

American Electric Power is reporting a major power outage in the Newark area Wednesday morning. A-E-P says just over 2600 customers will wake up in the dark after a car plowed into a power pole on Mt. Vernon Road. Officers are searching for the man who fled the scene.
