Grand Jury Indicts 5 In Burned Body Case

Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says the five people being held in connection with a burned body in Morgan County have been indicted by a Grand Jury.  Prosecutor Haddox says 19-year-old Shaquille Davis of Zanesville who was originally charged with one count of murder with a gun specification was also indicted on three counts of tampering with evidence and one count of abuse of corpse.  Haddox says the other four people arrested in the case were also indicted Wednesday on their original charges.  The Prosecutor says 21-year-old Marcia Brittany-Lee Harris of Cliffwood Avenue faces two counts of tampering with evidence, 3 counts of obstructing justice and one count of abuse of a corpse.  Haddox says Harris’ mother, 39-year-old Billy Harris of State Route 60 in McConnelsville faces 2 counts of obstruction of justice and one count of tampering with evidence.  Haddox says a third suspect – 18-year-old Tiffany Ellen Peace of Schultz Street is charged with 2 counts of tampering with evidence, 3 counts of obstructing justice and one count of abuse of corpse.  The final person charged in the case is 21-year-old Samantha Drabik of Athena Lane.  She faces one count of obstruction of justice.  All five are being held in connection with the burning death of 24-year-old Phillip Lawrence Kimbro Jr. on County Road 15 in Morgan County last month.
