Accident at 7th and Market in Zanesville

Traffic was backed up on 7th Street and Market in downtown Zanesville Thursday morning due to a two-car accident.
 

Zanesville Police responded to the accident just after 10 a.m.
 

The accident involved a Chrysler Sebring and a Subaru Legacy.

There was substantial damage to both vehicles.

Initial reports indicated that the driver of the Subaru was taken to the hospital.
