Credit Card Theft in Newark

Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000, for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a stolen credit card being used at two Newark stores.

The Newark Division of Police reports that on October 2, suspects stole a credit card out of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Hudson Avenue, and then used it to purchase items at Wal-mart and Speedway on N. 21st Street, in the north end of Newark. Surveilance cameras at both stores took pictures of the male and female suspects.
The suspects also stole tools and miscellaneous items from the same vehicle.
Anyone with information is urged to call the licking county crime stoppers.
