Peace Pleads Guilty In Kimbro Case

Two more people charged in connection with the death of Phillip Kimbro Jr. whose burning body was found in Morgan County appear in court Monday.  The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says that 18 year old Tiffany Peace of Zanesville pled guilty to tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and obstructing justice.  Two other counts of obstructing justice will be dropped at sentencing. Also, 18-year-old Kyle Finck plead guilty to one count of tampering with evidence.  The Prosecutor’s Office says Peace and Finck were part of a group of 6 people arrested in the case – including 19-year-old Shaquille Davis who was charged with murder. Davis is the only suspect who has not pleaded guilty in the case.  His trial is set for January 14th in Common Please Court.  Kimbro’s body was found in July along County Road 15 in Morgan County by a tree trimming crew. Davis was arrested in Zanesville on August 7th by Zanesville Police in a north end apartment.
