5 Races to be Recounted by Board

The Muskingum County Board of Election held its official vote count Tuesday.  Director Chris Hamill says there are five races to re-count.  They are Tri-valley School Board, Muskingum Township Trustees, Harrison Township Trustees, Wal-Mart East Sunday sale of alcohol and Cass Township Fire levy.  Hamill says of the five – due to a tie – a coin flip occurred between Terry Moore and Junior McCutcheon for Harrison Township Trustee.  Hamill says McCutcheon won the flip and is considered the winner, unless there is a different count which is unlikely.  Hamill says in two other races – Wal-Mart east and Cass Township Fire there is only a one vote difference.  The re-counts will likely happen next Tuesday November 26th.
