Sheriff Wins Pancake Eating Contest

The big Sertoma Pancake eating contest between Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz, Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton, Fire Chief Kevin Thomas and Muskingum County Commissioner Jim Porter took place at Secrest Auditorium Wednesday morning.  It was a close contest but in the end Sheriff Matt Lutz was the winner with five flapjacks consumed.  The contest is part of Sertoma Pancake day in the basement of the auditorium.  Organizers say they expect over 5500 people to be served today.  The event runs until 7 p.m.
