First Friday Art Walk
Zanesville’s art community is having an art walk Friday night.
The art walk will start at 5 o’clock Friday evening at the Z.A.A.P. Art Gallery located on Main Street in downtown Zanesville. Local artist and Z.A.A.P. member, Gary Graham, says people can expect to meet the artists and see a variety of winter-themed artwork.
"What they can expect by going around to different galleries and studios is you’ll see local artwork, original artwork in all mediums and prints, note cards, mixed mediums of sorts," said Graham.
When you stop by Z.A.A.P. for the art walk, you can pick up a map to help guide you through downtown Zanesville so you can visit each art gallery.
"You can go down to the Masonic Temple building, you can go down to Studio 202 and there’s a number of them around, that’s just two that I mentioned. But there’s quite a few artists in Zanesville so you’ve got a lot of local talent ."
The art walk goes until 8 o’clock.
