Bridge Work To Begin on I-70 in Muskingum County

The Ohio  Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that crews will begin work on two bridges on Interstate 70 in Muskingum County.

The first bridge deck repair will take place Monday, July 25th at the Norwich 164 exit.

The work will require the closure of the westbound on-ramp and the right lane near the exit.

Crews will work from 6:30 a.m. on Monday to 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Drivers may use the Airport road on ramp as an alternate route

The second bridge repair will take place Tuesday, July 26th  just west of State Street.

Crews will close the right eastbound lane from 7:30 a.m. Tuesday to 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the work zone.
