Virginia Nagel

Virginia Ann Nagel, 96, of Zanesville, passed on to a better life on October 22, 2023, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice with family at her side. She was born June 9, 927, graduated from Holy Family High School in Columbus, and was married to her loving husband of over 59 years, Jack E. Nagel, who died May 21, 2006.

Virginia is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Joseph) Crock of Granville, Beverly Mahoney of Benicia, CA and Jackie (Jeff) Garber of Buckeye Lake; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Eing and David (Issie) Eing both of Grove City, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Karl Eing, and two sisters-in-law, Margaret and Doris Eing.

Virginia loved her family and numerous friends. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW. She loved to read, watch movies, walk, socialize and play cards, but most of all loved being the best mother and grandmother ever.

Friends may call from 1 PM to 2 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. A funeral service will be held 2 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will conclude in the Mt.
